I can’t quite remember who’s brilliant idea it would be to catch a bug over Christmas, but we did. Four out of five in the house were bundled up with blankets, cold wash cloths, and set to timers for Tylenol distribution.
We finally made it through with the only casualty being my voice… which is still missing. But thank goodness for the beef bits in the freezer and the trusty crock pot.
Super simple, Ingredients:
Beef cubes for stew
beef broth- 2 cans
1 pack of onion soup mix
water
carrots- chopped
celery- chopped
potatoes- cubed
In the crockpot, add the beef cubes, 2 cans of broth, 2 broth cans of water, packet of onion soup mix. Cook on high for 5 hours. Add in the carrots, celery, and potatoes. Continue cooking for 2 hours. Serve with a slice of buttered bread.
Very little effort for a very good meal.

Sounds delicious.
