Cleaning- It’s something that most of us wish that we could avoid. Sure there are a few of us who adore cleaning but I am willing to bet that there are far more who dislike clean than there are of those who love cleaning.
Cleaning a Cleaning System That Works for You!
The secret to having a clean home without cleaning from sun up to sun down is to have a system in place. One that works for your needs and the growing needs of your family. This can be easier said than done but I have a few tips that just may help.
- Create a vision. What do you long to have your home feel like? How do you want others to feel when they visit your home. Write it down! This vision will help keep you inspired.
- Pick 9 things that have to be done daily. This one sounds easy enough. You will take these nine things and spread them out between three times of the day. Causing them to become a habit for you.
- Toss clutter. Many times our homes are clean and yet they don’t look it because we have too much clutter. Nothing needs to be in our home that doesn’t help with the vision of our home. Not to mention that one can not clean away clutter…..It has to be tossed.
- Stick with it even on the hard days. So many times we sit down and come up with the perfect plan to get our homes clean. A few days into it we flake out and before you know it we have abandoned our new system and moved on. Just like with anything else. Things only get better if we stick with it.
Cleaning doesn’t have to be a dreaded thing in our homes. Cleaning also doesn’t have to consume our days or lives. Creating a cleaning schedule can help make your home vision come true and allow you to finally feel as though you are in control.
