Recently I was given an opportunity to read a book entitled “Even Tempered Mother - Tips From A Mom Overcoming Rage and Depression” by Tabitha Philen. Immediately I was impressed by Tabitha’s willing to be so transparent about something that most women choose to be so closed lip about. From her issues with depression early on in life to how she is still handling her depression today. If that wasn’t enough she has even gotten some other well known writers to share their stories about their depression battle as well.
“Even Tempered Mother - Tips From A Mom Overcoming Rage and Depression” not only gives tips Tabitha has tried it, also shares lots of other websites/ resources to help women and moms alike. There is a bonus section which includes Bible verses to remind those who suffer from depression that they are loved and that they are not alone. In fact there are millions of women who suffer from this and never say a word. I know I did and never spoke about it till here recently.
Topics Covered In This Book:
- An Emotional Heritage
- Rage
- Tips For The Rage-o-hlic
- Depression
- Tips For The Depressed Mom
- The Power To Recover
- Breaking The Cycle

Until Next Time Just Keep Soaring 4 Him,
I would like to invite you to my Facebook group Christian Homemakers in Training where we dive into homemaking, motherhood, marriage and group devotions. After all, we all need a safe place to grow together, right?
Thanks for posting this, we all could use a good bit of encouragement in this department whether we admit it or not. It is hard work being a momma and sometimes we just don’t hear the encouragement …. just those little bits of praise or promise, to help us lift our eyes and see hope ahead.
I love the name of your blog, becoming has a dual meaning. You are ascribing toward something and you are beautiful while doing it. 🙂
Blessings,
Dawn
