Making Changes Within To See Changes In Him & Hearts 4 Home Link Up

Marriage is hard and yes sometimes it get right down messy. Most people looking into my marriage would think that it is almost perfect. The fact of the matter is it is far from that. Just like everyone else we have moments when we do not get along, we have moments that we have “discussions” that I wish would have never happened and yet there are times when I wonder why in the world that man just does not see things my way.

Yet something I had to learned semi early on is that I can not make my husband change. I can not make him see things my way. I also can not make him always do things that I want to do. What I can do however is I can make changes in myself. Changes within myself that cause him to see the changes and possibly soften his heart. I can make changes within myself that are not only pleasing to my husband but they are pleasing to God.

 

Today I am talking about one time in particular that this happened in my marriage. One time that God truly stepped in and used my actions to save my husband and our marriage.
