It is so easy to get discouraged when you are trying to live your life the way that God intended. In fact you may even catch yourself second guessing some of your choices. God knew that we would have trouble in the area of remaining confident. Which is why the Bible is chopped full of encouragement for such times. You see we all have those times of doubts. We all have those moments when we feel that no matter how good we think we are doing that we are falling short. Paul, in Romans, had his own trouble with this feeling. Yet Paul remembered that no matter what that we are in fact loved by God.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 38-39
Being a Christian is a tall order. Being a Christian mother and wife is also a tall order. We are never going to do it all perfectly yet God loves us no matter what. God knows that we need grace and God loves us because of our flaws. You see these flaws allow people to see a work in us for the greater good. He wants us to remain confident in the fact that He has and always will love us.
Philippians 4:13 gives us this reminder:
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Alone we can not be the type of mother we need to be. Alone we can not be the type of wife that we need to be for our husbands but through Christ we can do all things. Ever wondered how some people can seem to do all kinds of amazing things? Chances are if you ask they will all tell you it is all because of God. So why is it that we question our abilities? If God has brought us to a season in our live, He will certainly give us what we need to get through it.
Finally let us remember to approach God with confidence. Confidence because we know that He is going to help us. Confidence in knowing that He is going to bring us through the many things that we are going through and confidence to know that we are in fact loved.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.Hebrews 4:16
When you are talking to God remember that He is on your side. Focus on the fact that He does not put us through more than we can handle. This could be a difficult relationship that you are in at the moment, it can parenting struggles and it can even be friction in your marriage. Know that God is with you through it all.

I love that verse from Romans. It is so true as our confidence is in Christ and we will not be greatly shaken.
