There are moments when we all feel stranded. We are uncertain of the paths that we are supposed to take and we have no clue if we are even making the right choices. Often times feeling stranded makes us feel useless and confused. Like we have done something wrong and that we have fallen out of God’s good graces. The fact is that we all feel this way at some point
When we feel stranded we begin to blame ourselves. We think that naturally, the problem must be with us. After all, no one else ever feels this way. Then we start rushing around trying to fill our time to help us feel better. We forget that we need to discover why it is that we are feeling the way that we are. Instead, all we know is we need to fix it.
Sometimes we need to stop and simply be in our stranded moments……
To allow ourselves time to seek God.
To allow God to minister to our hearts.
To allow God to tell us what it is that we need to hear.
To discover what it is that we need to being doing to glorify Him and not ourselves.
The main thing to remember in those stranded moments is that we are far from being alone. God is right there with us but we have to be willing to look for Him. To seek Him in those stranded moments and know that He will bring us out of them.
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
