Letting God Take Control Great Things Will Happen

For those of you who have been following me here for a while or if you are coming from my fan page on FB you have noticed a few things. One of those being I have been a busy, busy bee since January. You see my goal for 2014 was to be more focus. Focused on what you may ask? Well a lot of things really but one of my primary goals this year was to spread hope and light to all the mothers and wives out there. After all that is why Becoming A Godly Wife was born. To share what I am learning in hopes that it would inspire someone else to do the same thing. In order for this to happen I had to allow God to take complete control. Funny thing when you do that because God does just that.

 

Toward the beginning of the year after praying to God to take complete control. No longer would I say no to writing assignments. No longer would I not write about a topic because it may cause an uproar I was contacted by a dear friend. She was starting up a contributor blog called Marriage, Motherhood and Mission. Misty then explained that she had a spot open in her marriage department on this new website. The kicker they were also going to be writing a book. Tidbits’ From Help Meets’ Hearts.

 

Writing that book and all of its various parts was a blessing. It caused me to truly think about all the different areas of my marriage and my life in general. What i didn’t realize was that when I got my copy of the book how much of a blessing it was going to be to me. There were 7 of us who agreed to write this book. We all had general topics to cover. What we didn’t know what what each other was writing. Yet they all messed perfectly together. In all the articles we provided none of them matched. Truly God had a hand in the making of this book.

 

Each article allows you to see the writer in a different way. Each section allows you to not only see you are not alone in your struggles but also it gives you hope. Every article is filled with Biblical truths from some of the greatest women I have ever met.

 

Now this book does not launch until April 1st. But if you are on my FB page you will be able to see “sneak peeks” provided by the images that I have been using. I am not promoting this book so strongly because I had a small part in its making. It is the whole picture that is revealed when I read the book that made me truly believe in it. I truly believe that it will of great encouragement to all who read it. Now with that being said I am going to leave you with a video so that you can see some of the wisdom that is hidden in this book. I will also leave you with a small piece of wisdom. When you tell God to take control be ready to work, stumble and be blessed all at one time.
