During the day as we go about our daily life it is hard sometimes not to get a little annoyed. Rooms you just cleaned get destroyed moments after you cleaned them, meals you worked hard on get rejected, and all your efforts around your home often seem to go unnoticed/ unappreciated. The fact of the matter is that even if our efforts do not seem appreciated by others they are most certainly are appreciated by God.
When we are cleaning our homes, playing with our children and even interacting with those who get under our skin. We need to remember we are doing these things for the glory of God. We need to be doing these things just as Christ would….Humble… Willing….Prayfully. We are a living example of Christ’s love. We are an example to others what being Christ centered is about and what it looks like. Yes it becomes discouraging doing the same things day in and day out. Dealing with those who seem to get no clue why we are constantly putting ourselves out there to be a light to others in a dark world. But when we really think about it I bet God feels the same way as He watches us do the same mistakes over and over again. Yet He continues to love us. He continues to provide our needs. He is willing to love us even when we do not deserve is.
Ways To Be More Christ Centered:
- Burying ourselves in God’s Word: In order to understand the mindset we need to have to be Christ centered we need to study God’s word daily. He is able to lead us in the ways that we need to go IF we would only listen and study His word. Besides how else are we going to know how we are suppose to live if we are not taking time to study our instruction manual that God has given us.
- Praying for direction: We need to communicate with God to understand the way God wants us to go. Also talking to God reminds us that we serve an awesome God. One who is here with us during all the many things and annoyances that come our way. Prayer also provides us with peace to deal with life in general.
- Make sure to surround yourself with others who are striving to be Christ centered: In this life we need to have a great support system. Church is a great place to surround yourself with like minded Christians. We need people in our lives that we can seek counsel from who will give us Biblical advice. Worth while advice. We also need people who are there to support us when we get down and out. These friendships not only help keep us Christ centered. They also provide a life line in times of doubt and confusion.
I know it is a tall order to strive to live a Christ centered life. The rewards in the after life is well worth it. Our work is tiresome, long and tedious. But we must not lose hope. We must continue to work hard to be what God wants us to be. Instead remember who you serve and why you serve.

As always you have hit the nail on the head and spoken directly to me. Thanks
I think we all need the reminder from time to time
