Encouraging women to sow seeds of worship in their day to day lives was Mandy’s goal for her online ministry. One that even 4 weeks after her graduation day to be with the Lord she is still doing and doing well through the words and videos she left behind.
As I strive to move forward without one of my biggest mentors, I must confess it has not been filled with that of a worshipful heart. Yet, recently I was reminded that even in my darkest moments worship should feel not only my life in the good times but also in the dark moments as well. In order for me to more forward, I need to remember to worshipfully do so…. After all, that is exactly what Mandy would have wanted.
When we are dealing with financial struggles our God is still in control
When family drama peeks its ugly head into our lives our God is still in control.
When the motherhood heartaches begin to bring us down our God is still in control.
When our friends and family members leave this world our God is still in control.
Funny thing about reminding ourselves of this truth… In choosing to worshipfully live our lives even in the hard times, those hard moments become easier. Our dark moments become moments filled with praise sessions. We are able to finally see God surrounding us with His greatness because as we are worshipfully pursuing Him in our weak moment we are actually welcoming Him to come into our lives with all His might and to help to heal us when we feel the most broken.
Since remembering the simple truth that God is still in control I think I am finally ready to worshipfully move forward. To continue the ministry that God has placed into my life. After all, my work isn’t done yet and I have a friend waiting on me.
Until Next Time Just Keep Soaring 4 Him,
I would like to invite you to my Facebook group Christian Homemakers in Training where we dive into homemaking, motherhood, marriage and group devotions. After all, we all need a safe place to grow together, right?
